Vanamo fabric is weaved in Finland and the unique pattern is Finnish design. Made from natural & ecological organic cotton and high quality Italian linen. Kide weave is lively and multifaceted. The three-dimensional structure will appear after the first washing.
One order unit is 1 meter (100 cm). If you order for example 5 units, you will get a whole 5 meters long piece of fabric. PLEASE NOTE: The width of fabric 78 cm.
The word ”kide” means ice chrystals and the Kide pattern was inspired by the traditional hand woven Finnish linen textiles. The Kide weave is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique stuctured, porous and comfortable weave. After the first washing the fabric will fluff up and the unique texture appears. Kide pattern is designed by textile designer Katja Hynninen.
Kide linen fabric is strong and durable but also very comfortable to the skin. Linen textiles become better and better over time and the Kide fabric becomes wonderfully soft! The fabric does not stretch in length-wise but it does have some diagonal stretch which makes the fabric moldable. Kide fabric is airy and porous which makes it cool and breathable. Great moiture absorbent - yet feels dry to touch.
