Numbat Mei Tai is a soft and comfortable carrier for both you and your baby. Mei tai is easy to put on and the same baby carrier is suitable for different sized parents. Also back carry is simple to carry out with the mei tai. The design of Numbat Mei Tai is the same as with our Wompat full buckle carriers but instead of buckles the mei tai is adjusted by tying the long fabric straps. If the buckles of the full buckle carriers feel uncomfortable, but you still wish to have a baby carrier that is easy and fast to use, maybe the Numbat Mei Tai is the answer!

The body part of Numbat Mei Tai is of Girasol's baby wrap fabrics and other quality cottons. The straps are made of soft corduroy or cotton twill. We have added just right amount of padding inside the shoulder straps and waist band to add comfort.

We offer three sizes of Numbat mei tai: standard, medium and toddler. The standard size is suitable for babies from about 4-6 months and up to 1,5 years. The medium size is suitable for 1-year olds and toddlers. And the toddler size is designed for children of 2-4 years of age. The panel of a standard size carrier is 38 cm high and 42 cm wide at top and 33- 35 cm wide at the lower part. Toddler size is 45 cm high and 45 cm wide at the top and lower part of the panel. And the medium size is 40 cm high, 45 cm wide at the top and 35- 40 cm wide at lower part of the panel. The shoulder straps are 220 cm long.

You may order the Numbat Mei Tai with the Girasol wrap design of your choice, if there aren't anything you like among the Mei Tais for sale. You can choose the strap material (cord or twill). We will then suggest some matching fabrics that are in stock.

Numbat Mei Tais are available for customers in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, but unfortunately we can not sell them to the USA or Canada for the time being.
